Nano Flow™ provides two main families of gold nanoparticles, also known as gold colloids, tailored for lateral flow assay development and other diagnostic applications. Manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certification, our nanoparticles combine high sphericity, narrow size distribution, and exceptional stability. Depending on your conjugation strategy, we offer either citrate-stabilized colloids for passive adsorption or carboxyl-functionalized colloids for covalent coupling. Sizes from 20 nm to 80 nm are available across both families to match the specific requirements of your assay.

Citrate-stabilized gold nanoparticles

Optimized for passive adsorption of antibodies, proteins, and other biomolecules. Produced with highly spherical morphology and narrow size distribution, these colloids are widely used in lateral flow assays, offering cost-effective and reproducible performance.

Carboxyl-functionalized gold nanoparticles

Surface-modified with carboxyl (-COOH) groups for robust covalent conjugation of antibodies and biomolecules. This chemistry provides stronger and more oriented binding compared to passive adsorption. Upon request, these nanoparticles can be further derivatized with advanced chemical groups such as azide, DBCO, or amines, enabling specialized coupling strategies (e.g., click chemistry).
