Automated production with in-line QC ensures batch-to-batch consistency.
Gold Conjugation Services
Nano Flow™ offers a comprehensive gold conjugation service, enabling diagnostic developers to choose between two complementary approaches: passive adsorption and covalent conjugation. Both methods are supported by our highly spherical gold nanoparticles (20, 40, 60, and 80 nm), produced under strict quality control. Whether you need a fast, cost-effective solution or a highly stable and chemically tailored conjugate, Nano Flow provides the expertise and industrial capacity to deliver reproducible and manufacturing-ready reagents.
Why choose Nano Flow conjugation services?
Our two conjugation approaches
Passive adsorption
(citrate-stabilized gold nanoparticles)
Passive adsorption is the most widely used method for antibody–gold conjugation. It is fast, cost-effective, and well suited for many lateral flow assay formats.
When to choose passive adsorption?
- For early-stage development and prototyping.
- For diagnostic tests where passive adsorption provides optimal sensitivity.
- When simplicity and scalability are key priorities.
Covalent conjugation (carboxylated and surface-modified nanoparticles)
Covalent conjugation provides stronger and more stable attachment of antibodies or biomolecules to the gold nanoparticle surface. Beyond carboxyl coupling, Nano Flow also offers chemical surface modifications (e.g., amine, azide, DBCO), enabling tailored conjugation strategies adapted to your specific needs.
When to choose covalent conjugation?
- For diagnostic assays requiring high conjugate stability under challenging conditions.
- For multiplex assays or complex assay formats where oriented or site-specific coupling is beneficial.
- When developing advanced assays requiring chemical versatility beyond passive adsorption.
